AgriCultures Network
The global network of LEISA magazines is now called the AgriCultures Network.
The network serves readers all over the world through one global and seven
regional editions of the magazine, in different languages. There is a
close collaboration between all editions, and we strive for a greater complementarity in focus and content. The regional editions
will continue to particularly aim at practitioners. The global edition
will put practical experiences in a larger context. It will give an overview of global discussions and trends, invite readers to join debates, offer background
information, and bring out different perspectives from various regions.
Small farmers' way of life, the future
Small-scale family farming offers an alternative approach to the world. Over the past 25 years, many stories have been published in which small farmers show us that they have a crucial role to play in sustainable development. Our jubilee year is the perfect occasion to spread this message. In the months to come we will renew our magazine, we will put you, the readers, in the spotlight and we will try to convince more people that small farmers' way of life is the future.
